Experience the harp like you’ve never heard it before. Leonard Jácome is an internationally recognized Venezuelan harpist, composer, and innovator known for pushing the boundaries of traditional harp music.
His high-energy performances blend Venezuelan and Latin American rhythms with jazz, world music, contemporary sounds, improvisation, electronics, and live looping. Leonard performs on electric and Venezuelan harp alongside cuatro, percussion, and technology, creating a vibrant and dynamic sound rooted in Latin American musical traditions.
Leonard is also the creator of the Venezuelan Electric Harp, the “Electrollanera 37,” developed in collaboration with Camac Harps in France. A featured artist and former cover artist of Harp Column Magazine, he has performed and presented his music internationally, including at One Harp World 2026 in Toronto.
He currently serves as Affiliate Faculty at Metropolitan State University of Denver, where he shares his expertise in Latin American and Mariachi harp traditions.
